Russian Court have banned Isekai anime and manga from the country!

Several famous isekai anime, like KonoSuba and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, have recently been blocked on Russian websites. The isekai (meaning "otherworld") titles "promote reincarnation beliefs" and prove that "after death, there can be a more complete and fascinating life, free from parental control," according to the Russian court.

The Russian district court in Saint Petersburg banned five anime titles on Monday, citing a federal Russian law protecting children from harmful material. Isekai anime KonoSuba and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, comedy horror anime Zombie Land Saga, comedy romance Nekopara, and harem anime Princess Lover! are among the banned shows.

The ban only affects a few hosting sites, including Animejapan.tv, Animego.org, Jut.su, and Animeonline.cc, as it did with the Death Note and Tokyo Ghoul bans in January.
