The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat TV Anime Rescheduled for October, 2021
On Friday, the official website for Rui Tsukiyo and Reia's light novels The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat (Sekai Saik no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru) began streaming a teaser trailer for the anime.The anime's new October release date (it was initially scheduled for July) is revealed in the trailer, which the website notes is due to "different reasons."

At SILVER LINK and Studio Palette, Masafumi Tamura (Wise Man's Grandchild, The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Two Car) is directing the anime, and Katsuhiko Takayama (Two Car, Ange Vierge, The Future Diary) is writing and supervising the series scripts. The characters are being designed by Eri Nagata (Ensemble Stars!, Blade & Soul).
The novels will be published in English by Yen Press, which defines the plot as follows:
When a great assassin is reborn in another world, he finds himself the heir to a long line of killers from the shadows. With both his modern-day knowledge and experience and the special magic and techniques of this new world, he could very well become the most unstoppable assassin in history…!
In July 2018, Tsukiyo started serialising the narrative on the "Shsetsuka ni Nar" (Let's Become Novelists) website. With the first book published in February 2019, Kadokawa began releasing the storey in print volumes with Reia's drawings.
In January 2019, Hamao Sumeragi published a manga adaption on Kadokawa's Young Ace Up manga website. The manga will also be published in English by Yen Press.
Hideaki Yoshikawa's manga adaptation of Tsukiyo's Dungeon Builder: The Demon King's Labyrinth is a Modern City! novels is published by Seven Seas Entertainment. Tsukiyo's Redo of Healer light book series has also spawned a TV anime adaptation, which debuted on January 13th.
