Mieruko-chan Anime's New Visual and Trailer Reveals October Airing

The air date for the TV anime "Mieruko-chan," based on Izumi Tomoki's original work, has been set. From October, it will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, BS Nippon Television, AT-X, and other channels. Simultaneously, cast information, the first PV, and the second teaser visual were made available.

"Mieruko-chan" is a horror comedy about Miko Yotsuya, a high school girl who encounters a strange "Yaba guy" on a daily basis. Miko, the main character, will be played by Sora Amamiya, Hana Yurikawa, Miko's best friend, by Kaede Hondo, and Yuria Niguredo, Mikoto Hana's classmate, by Ayane Sakura. Character images were also revealed, as well as comments from the three cast members. The anime's opening theme is Miko's character song "I can't see it!?" sung by Amemiya. The same song's sound source is also lifted in the first PV. The second teaser visual, like the first, comes in two varieties: a "visible version" and a "invisible version."

WebComic Apanda, a new label in ComicWalker, will be born today, July 16th. In the future, "Mieruko-chan," which has been serialised on ComicWalker, will be developed as a work of the same label. To commemorate the launch of this WebComic Apanda and the animation of "Mieruko-chan," a special number has also been decided. On July 28, it will be broadcast live on YouTube's KADOKAWA anime channel, with ghost storyteller Ami serving as MC alongside Amemiya and Hondo.
