My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes' Mission Reveals New Cast Members

My Hero Academia's official website THE MOVIE: World Heroes' Mission, the third anime film in the My Hero Academia franchise, announced additional cast members for original characters on Saturday. The characters were created by original manga creator Kohei Horikoshi.



New cast members:

  • Mariya Ise as Belos
  • Junya Enoki as Sir Pentas
  • Yuichiro Umehara as Shidero
  • Shogo Sakata as Leviathan
  • Hirofumi Nojima as Allen Kay
  • Youko Honna as Claire Voyance
Belos, Sir Pentas, Shidero, and Leviathan are members of the enigmatic organisation Humarize no Villain, whose goal it is to exterminate all people with Quirks. Claire Voyance is a Pro Hero in Oseon, and Allen Kay is a Humarize no Villain researcher.

According to the plot of the film, a mysterious organisation dedicated to the annihilation of people with Quirks has issued a threat and planted bombs all over the world. Pro Heroes and Hero Interns scramble to locate the bombs. Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki meet Rody (voiced by Ryo Yoshizawa), a boy living in a mobile home in Oseon's designated area, and end up working with him.


The film will be released in Japan on August 6. Khei Horikoshi, the creator of the original manga, will return as chief supervisor and original character designer. Theatergoers will receive a bonus manga volume titled "Vol. World Heroes." The manga volume has a print run of one million copies.

Kenji Nagasaki returns to direct the new film at BONES after directing the television series and two previous films in the franchise. Scriptwriter Yousuke Kuroda, character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi, and composer Yuki Hayashi are also returning. The film's theme song, "Empathy," is performed by Asian Kung-Fu Generation.
