New Game! Manga Will Ends on August 27 After 8 Years

 

Shotaro Tokuno's New Game! workplace manga will finish on August 27 in the October issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Charat magazine, according to the official Twitter account for Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara magazine. On September 27, the manga's 13th and final collected book volume will be released.



Aoba Suzukaze, the protagonist of the manga, graduates from high school and joins a game firm. Aoba's senior at the company happens to be the person who created the game that Aoba enjoyed as a kid. Girls who work and aspire at the Eaglejump firm are the focus of the story.

In 2013, Tokun0 first published the manga in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Charat magazine. The manga was licensed by Seven Seas.

A television animation was based on the manga. Crunchyroll broadcast the first anime season with English subtitles as it aired in Japan, starting in July 2016. As the second season premiered in Japan, Crunchyroll streamed it with English subtitles.

In July 2017, Funimation released the English dub of New Gamefirst !'s season. A few weeks after the anime launched in Japan in July 2017, the business streamed the English dub of the second season. The anime is no longer being streamed by the company. The English dubs for both seasons are available on Crunchyroll.
