Prince of Tennis 3D CG Film's Trailer Reveals New Members and Theme Song

On Tuesday, the official website for the Ryoma! Shinsei Gekijoban Tennis no Oji-sama (Ryoma! Rebirth: The Prince of Tennis Movie) 3DCG anime film began streaming the film's full trailer. The trailer reveals and previews the film's theme song "Sekai o Teki ni Mawashitemo" (Even if You Make an Enemy of the World) by TeniPuri All Stars, the franchise's main voice actors' unit name. It also gives a sneak peek at the dance sequences and tennis matches in this "new dimensional adventure."

The film will be released in Japan on September 3rd. The film will be released in two versions, with some scenes changed to move the storey along two parallel tracks. The "Decide" version highlights Seigaku team captain Kunimitsu Tezuka and Rikkai team captain Seiichi Yukimura, whereas the "Glory" version highlights Hyotei team captain Keigo Atobe and Shitenhoji team captain Kuranosuke Shiraishi.

The plot of the film begins with Ryoma, the main character, arriving in the United States and discovering Sakuno Ryuzaki being harassed by a "tennis gang." Ryoma swings a ball at them in an attempt to assist Sakuno, but instead hits a ball tossed by a mysterious wheelchaired man. At that moment, Ryoma and Sakuno travel back in time to when Ryoma father Nanjiro was still performing as "Samurai Nanjiro" in America.
