To Your Eternity Anime Reveals 5 Cast Members for New Arc

On Monday, the official website for Yoshitoki Oima's To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) television anime revealed new cast members. The new cast members will play characters in the new storey arc, which will take the storey to the prison island of Jananda and begin with the 13th episode, which will air on July 12.

The Anime cast includes:

  • Eri Inagawa as Tonari
  • Yu Kobayashi as Sandel
  • Nobuyuki Kobushi as Uroy
  • Yūko Natsuyoshi as Mia
  • Konomi Kohara as Oopa
On April 12, the anime debuted on NHK Educational. The anime was originally scheduled to premiere in October of last year, but it was pushed back to April 2021 due to the new coronavirus disease severely disrupting the anime's production schedule (COVID-19).


The series will consist of 20 episodes. The anime is available on Crunchyroll.

At Brains Base, Masahiko Murata (Naruto Shippden, Baby Steps) is directing the anime. The series scripts are written by Shinz Fujita (Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children, Duel Masters Cross), and the characters are designed by Koji Yabuno (Space Brothers, Naruto Shippden: Blood Prison). The music is composed by Ryo Kawasaki (Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia, Muhyo, and Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation), and the sound is directed by Takeshi Takadera.

Crunchyroll is releasing the manga in English digitally at the same time as it is released in Japan.

Ōima debuted the manga in Weekly Shnen Magazine in November 2016. The first arc of the manga ended in December 2019, and the second arc began in January 2020. In May 2019, the manga won the Best Shnen Manga award at the 43rd annual Kodansha Manga Awards. The manga was also named to the Young Adult Library Services Association's (YALSA) 2019 list of Great Graphic Novels for Teens by the American Library Association (ALA).
