"Heike Monogatari" is a classic masterpiece that depicts the prosperity and downfall of the Heike. This is the first time that it has been animated as a continuous TV series.
The TV animation "Heike Monogatari" is based on the translation by Hideo Furukawa published by Kawade Shobo Shinsha in 2016. The original anime character "Biwa" (CV: Aoi Yuki) has been set up as the main character and storyteller, Biwa Hoshi.
Taira no Kiyomori (CV: Tessho Genda)'s eldest son, Shigemori (CV: Takahiro Sakurai), and his sister, Tokuko (CV: Saori Hayami), and other Heike people interact with each other in a storytelling historical fact.
