"Shenmue the Animation" Anime's First Video Reveals More Characters

From the anime "Shenmue the Animation", a special newsletter with Japanese subtitles has been released.

The special newsletter was lifted at the "New York Comic Con 2021" held in New York, USA the other day. Including the main character, Ryo Batsuki, his nemesis, Rantei, and a girl living in a remote village, Reika Hana, familiar characters from the original game have appeared, and a fierce action scene is unfolding.

"Shenmue the Animation" is based on the popular action-adventure game "Shenmue" released on Sega's home video game console Dreamcast in 1999. Directed by Chika Sakurai and produced by Telecom Animation Film, it is scheduled to be released in 2022.
