'I'm Quitting Heroing' Anime's Trailer reveals Ending Song



On Sunday, the official website for the television anime adaptation of Quantum and Hana Amano's fantasy light novel series I'm Quitting Heroing: Next Gig Is at the Demon Queen's Castle (Yusha, Yamemasu: Tsugi no Shokuba wa Maojo) began streaming a new promotional video for the anime. The video previews Nao Toyama's "Growing," the anime's concluding theme song.

On April 5, the anime will premiere on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS11, and MBS, beginning with AT-X at 10:30 p.m. Sentai Filmworks has secured exclusive rights to the anime, which will be available on HIDIVE and on home media.

The plot revolves around Leo, a hero who previously defended the planet from an assault by a demon army. However, he was feared and outcast by the public subsequently, and he was unable to find work. He rejoins the army of the demon lord against whom he once fought, believing that his skills would be more recognised elsewhere. Now in a new work setting, Leo seeks to put his skills to use and resurrect the demon army, which is on the verge of collapsing.

Yuu Nobuta (High School Fleet, Maesetsu! Opening Act, The Faraway Paladin) is credited as the series' chief director, while Hisashi Ishii (Rainy Cocoa side G, Kuma Kum Kuma Bear) directs at EMT Squared. Shigeru Murakoshi (Zombie Land Saga, Sacred Beasts, The Gymnastics Samurai) is in charge of the screenplays for the series. The characters are designed by Yuki Nakano (A Destructive God Sits Next to Me, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear).

In 2017, Quantum released the storey on the Kakuyomu storey website. Kadokawa is releasing the narrative in print, with illustrations by Amano, and the third book was released in October 2018.

In May 2018, Nori Kazato debuted a manga adaptation of the novels on Kadokawa's Young Ace Up web manga site. In May 2021, Kadokawa released the manga's fifth volume.
