Vinland Saga SEASON 2 First Trailer Released and Anime Premier in January 2023

TV animation "Vinland Saga" SEASON 2 based on Makoto Yukimura will start broadcasting on TOKYO MX and BS11 from January 2023. The first PV, main visual, and cast staff have been announced.

"Vinland Saga" is a story about the son of a warrior, Tolfin, who is touted as the strongest, aiming for the phantom continent "Vinland" while living on the battlefield at the end of the millennium when the Vikings exhausted their violence. SEASON 1 aired from July to December 2019. SEASON 2 depicts the disappointed hero Tolfin living as a slave after the death of his father's murderous enemy, Asherad.

MAPPA is in charge of producing SEASON 2. In the main visual, new characters such as Einal, who will live on the farm together as a slave, and Arnaise, a woman who serves the landowner, will appear. In addition, the character voices of new characters appearing from SEASON 2, such as Shunsuke Takeuchi as Einal , Mayumi Sako as Arnaise, Yu Hayashi as Ormal, Hideaki Tezuka as Ketil , and Taiten Kusunoki as Tall Gil , were released for the first time in the PV.
