Tomo-chan is a girl! Anime Adaptation Announced for January 2023

"Tomo-chan is a girl!" is a coming-of-age romantic comedy centered on a boyish high school girl, Tomo a.k.a. Satoshi Aizawa, and her insensitive childhood friend, Jun a.k.a. Junichiro Kubota, whom she has feelings for. category at the 2nd Next Coming Manga Awards in 2016. The series is popular among manga and anime fans in the U.S. and other countries, and the anime is being developed in Japan, the U.S., and other regions around the world.

The cast includes Riyo Takahashi as Tomo, Kaito Ishikawa as Jun, Rina Hidaka as Misuzu Gundo, their childhood friend with excellent grades, and Sally Amagi as Carol Allston, an English girl who is extremely popular among the boys.
