Mother of the Goddess' Dormitory Anime Reveals Visual and More Staff

On Thursday, the official website for Ikumi Hino's Megami-ryo no Ryobo-kun (Mother of the Goddess' Dormitory) manga revealed a new visual and more staff for the anime.


The new staff members:

  • Director of Photography: Kenji Takehara (Studio Twinkle)
  • Editing: Tomoki Nagasaka (Jay Film)

  • Audio Director: Yasushi Nagura (SonoPower)
  • Sound Effects: Hidemi Tanaka

On July 14, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and AT-X will air the anime, followed by BS11 on July 15. The version shown on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11 will be edited, whereas the version shown on AT-X will be unedited. The edited version will also be available on the Anime Store on July 14, while the "see-through" version will be available on July 20. On July 27, the anime will be available for streaming on other platforms. The anime will be streamed by Sentai Filmworks.

The anime is directed by Shunsuke Nakashige (Sword Art Online: Alicization, Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld episode director). The series scripts are overseen by Masashi Suzuki (Koe de Oshigoto!, The Sacred Blacksmith). The characters are being designed by Maiko Okada (chief animation director of The Future Diary).

Story:
The story centers on 12-year-old boy Kōshi Nagumo, who finds himself homeless, penniless, and without relatives to care for him. As he lies on the street, he gets picked up to become the "dorm mother" of a dormitory full of troubled women's university students. Surrounded by idiosyncratic and difficult older women, Kōshi begins a "slightly ecchi new life."

The manga launched in Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in December 2017.
