The anime will air every Sunday night at 11:15 p.m.

When the new anime season debuts this year, Funimation will stream it.

On five separate nights, each at 7:00 p.m., Fuji TV will begin airing five special compilations of the anime's first season with new footage. The following days will see the airing of the specials:

The broadcast of the specials will lead up to the television broadcast premiere of the Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train anime film on Fuji TV on September 25 at 9:00 p.m. JST.

Three of the recompilation specials will premiere in Japan with new footage in October and December 2020. The Sibling's Bond special premiered in Japanese theatres in March 2019, one month before the television anime's premiere. Sibling's Bond will also air on Fuji TV in October 2020, followed by the Mt. Natagumo Arc special later that month. In Japan, the Hashira Meeting Arc special aired in December 2020.

The specials were streamed in Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub by Funimation.

The manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge inspired a television anime that debuted in April 2019. Aniplex of America licenced the show and made it available on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. The television anime premiered in October 2019 on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block.
