"Spice and Wolf" completely new animation production decided!

Isuna Hasekura's novel "Spice and Wolf" will be produced as a new animation. Teaser visual and announcement commemorative PV have been released.

"Spice and Wolf", which was published as the debut work of Hasekura in 2006 and celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2021, is a wolf's ear by the trader Craft Lawrence, who travels around the country by horse-drawn carriage and trades various goods. A story that unfolds from the encounter with a beautiful girl with a tail, Holo. TV animation was broadcast in 2008 and 2009. The sequel to the novel "Spice and Wolf Spring Log" and the spin-off series "New Theory Wolf and Parchment Wolf and Parchment" are being published by Dengeki Bunko.

Dengeki Bunko has been developing a 15th anniversary commemorative project since February 2021. Illustrations drawn by illustrator Jyu Ayakura and congratulatory illustrations from illustrators related to Isuna Hasekura were released on the "Wolf and Spice & Wolf Isuna Hasekura Official Website" . Regarding the new animation, Hasekura said, "It's been 15 years since the journey between Holo and Lawrence began. I'm very happy to see their journey again with you."
