Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta Anime Adaptation Announced

Gosei Furukawa, "Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta (When I Became a Dog, My Favorite Person Picked Me Up)" will be adapted into a TV anime in 2023. A teaser visual has been released.

"Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta" is a romantic comedy about a main character who suddenly wakes up one day as a pet dog of a cool class beauty, Kako Inukai. The story depicts the main character's life with Ms. Inukai, who is cool and expressionless at school but actually a dog lover who dotes on her pet dog, from the dog's point of view. The series is serialized in Monthly Shonen Magazine R (Kodansha), Magazine Pocket, and other magazines, and four volumes have been published.

Furukawa said of the anime adaptation, "The work is mainly from a low angle dog's point of view, so I think you will enjoy the feeling of being kept by a girl. The heroine's thoughts and feelings are not described from a first-person perspective, so I'm looking forward to seeing how I can feel them through her movements and voice! He commented. Also, a congratulatory illustration of the heroines, Ka-ro Inukai, Nekotani Mike, and Tsukishiro Usagi, has arrived.

He will also be transferred from Magazine Pocket on March 17. From now on, in addition to his monthly serialization in Monthly Shonen Magazine R, he will also be serialized in Wednesday's Sirius, a follow-up serialization in YANMAGA Web, and a pick-up serialization in Magazine Pocket.
